Genesis Data Systems, Inc. of Midland, Texas, proudly announces Version 1.6 of its software program, enGauge. This program is for the oil lease pumper to be able to record gauges and create reports on a computer. It is compatible with both desktop and laptop computers. enGauge Palm Edition allows pumpers to collect gauge readings in the field by entering data into a handheld computer, and then uploading (syncing) the data to a desktop or laptop at their convenience.

is currently compatible with handhelds running the Palm OS^®
requires Microsoft^® Access 97 or newer database
runs on Microsoft^® Windows 95 and above operating system
calculates using tank tables or the barrels-per-foot method
gauges oil & water tanks and production & test meters
accepts daily, weekly, or monthly gauge readings
calculates mcf production for orifice gas meters on both the desktop and Palm
calculates run tickets with volume and gravity correction factors
permits many pumpers' data to be entered on the desktop computer
allows properties to be entered into program by lease, battery, tank, well, and meter
enables pumper to select properties that he will gauge
enables pumper to set the order in which he gauges his properties
allows gauge order to be changed at any time
offers a variety of reports including a summary report to simplify both weekly and monthly accounting
allows saving and e-mailing of reports
