Genesis Data Systems, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1984 by two individuals, one of whom remains as President of the company. Genesis original purpose was to develop software for the oil industry using the newest personal computer equipment that was just being introduced to the world. The software would be simple, easy to use, and relatively inexpensive. That purpose remains today.

Today's concentrated development is on the pumper's program, enGauge, production reporting software for the petroleum professional. enGauge is very easy to use, and is virtually self-supporting with its onscreen instructions and its User's Manual. Telephone and e-mail support are available, and Genesis continues to improve the software, releasing new versions periodically.
